iTunes Alarm overview
iTunes Alarm turns your Mac into the most fully featured alarm clock you've ever owned. It'll gently put you to sleep then quietly do the same for your computer. When its time to wake up, it'll wake the computer first, and then rouse you from your slumber with whatever music or radio station you choose. You can even use it to seamlessly change from one playlist to another, changing the mood at a specific time (a useful tool when its time for your guests to leave.) IT LIVES! You can still use v2.1.4 on M1 Macs. Setting it up is confusing. Being aged code, it's looking for iTunes. On recent Macs, you have to help it find the "Music" app. When you do, it will cogitate a bit. Don't be concerned. It figures out what to do. Setting up an alarm the first time is also confusing, but you get the hang of it. The interface looks archaic. Low and behold, IT STILL WORKS. I have it shuffle tunes within a playlist I created.

It is great but it crashes frequently when changing the alarm settings. After you get the alarm set up though its perfect!

Im on High Sierra and sometimes this alarm goes off and works and sometimes it does not. Anyone have any ideas or is there an updated version?

Doesn't work with OS X 10.7 Lion as far as I can tell. Otherwise a very competent and well working alarm app.
